Skopje, Macedonia – 11 May 2025 – A leading e-commerce company in Macedonia, known for selling and distributing natural and organic products, has successfully integrated its WooCommerce-based website with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, as well as with MikMik, a regional shipping agent. This integration empowers seamless order processing and delivery operations, ensuring that orders placed on the WooCommerce site are efficiently processed, packaged, and delivered to customers, enhancing overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.



Solution Overview


When an order is placed on the WooCommerce website, a third-party WooCommerce connector transfers the order to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The sales representative then prepares the order for shipment by packaging the products, posting the order in Business Central, printing the invoice/fiscal bill, and creating a transport order. This transport order is uploaded to MikMik’s system via an API integration call, allowing MikMik personnel to deliver the package to the end-user.


Finally, Business Central updates the WooCommerce site to reflect that the product has been shipped. This seamless integration saves time and prevents potential errors, enhancing the overall efficiency of the company's operations.



Technical Details


The integration between WooCommerce and Business Central is achieved using API integration methods, implemented by a third-party WooCommerce connector for Business Central.

The connectivity between Business Central and MikMik is facilitated by the LSM Sales & Shipping Agent API Integration app, developed by Login Systems. Configuring and setting up the two connectors to cover specific scenarios of the company took some time, but the result is a robust and efficient system.



Impact and Benefits


The company expects to lower the error rate, increase customer satisfaction, and support growth with a scalable and flexible solution, all while maintaining the same number of employees.


"We wanted to deploy a solution that would support our year-over-year growth, improve the quality of service, and achieve scalability so that this system/solution would be in place for the next 10 years," said the company's co-owner.

The new solution has been in use for almost a year. “It was a challenging and complex process to establish this solution,” said Venko Gligorov, project manager from Login Systems. “We have succeeded in integrating disparate systems to work as one.”
